Planning an Herb Garden

When planning an herb garden, think about the 3 D’s.

1.  Drainage. This is key to herb gardening and why most herbs thrive in some sort of container.

2.  Dry. With good drainage, dryness will follow. Herbs need to be kept on the dry side.

3.  Direct Sunlight. Critical for most herbs, except maybe mint!
